Pacific LAPD Boosters seek Carnival Sponsors

There will be a Palms Community Festival to the east of us on Venice Boulevard June 21, 22, and 23 where they will close part of the Boulevard for three days!   The carnival rides  part of it is to share revenue with the LAPD Pacific Boosters who support the youth programs and officers. They are looking for business, organizational or individual  sponsors for naming rights to rides. The Boosters are a 501 (c)3 non-profit.  See the letter and flyers below.

LAPD National Night Out Next Week August 1st

Dear North Oval,

Every year our Pacific Division LAPD participates in National Night Out (on Crime was dropped a few years ago) See the flyer below for information.

An added bonus this year is a purchased raffle ticket for a chance to win a Sole brand bicycle. I don’t know which model will be awarded. I would guess proceeds go to help the Boosters raise station funds for items and youth programs that the City does not pay for. See below.

From the Pacific Area LAPD Boosters

“Come meet your neighborhood safety providers and first responders at LAPD Pacific Division’s annual National Night Out Celebration.  Tuesday August 1st at Westchester Park from 5:30-8pm.  We will have food, fun, music, and the chance to buy a raffle ticket and win a brand new Sole Bicycle! We look forward to seeing you there!”
