There are two large projects slated for downtown Mar Vista. The MVCC door hanger on the proposed three story 58000 sq.ft. storage facility next to Grand View Elementary has all the info. Tomorrow, MVCC PLUM Committee has a zoom meeting about it. See below.
The other project around the corner on Pacific behind the Post Office is proposed to be 7 stories high! See info below from Drew Ruesch our Zone 5 MVCC representative..
The MVCC will have a zoom debate on Saturday Sept 17th for the two candidates vying to represent us at City Council District 11. Their are e-mail addresses to ask Marty Rubin your questions in advance. See below.
Also in the MVCC Newsletter is the link to comment on the proposed extension of the Mar Vista Road Diet west to Lincoln and all the way east to National at Metro Ivy Station in Culver City. I did not attend the zoom info meeting but did make comments in one section on their web survey directly here: https://ladot.lacity.org/venice
Have a cool rest of the Labor Day.

To: Drew Ruesch <Drew.Ruesch@marvista.org> Subject: 12124 W PACIFIC AVE 90066 (church) Hope everyone is having a nice 3-day weekend, I wanted to let you know that the church near the farmers market (that is set to be demolished) is an R-3 lot and the owners are looking into developing a 7-story, 74-unit building with 11 very low income units (14%). They have not applied for any density bonuses yet, but I saw that the information was listed on DBS. https://www.ladbsservices2.lacity.org/OnlineServices/PermitReport/PermitResultsbyPin?pin=111B157%20%20%20%2033 |
