I noticed the retail building at NW corner of 11707 Washington Place at McLaughlin is for sale. Will that mean a tear down for new development or a renovation? Current occupants are Don Chuy’s tacos and the Video/Market next door. C. McKinnon
Update August 2010: From knowledgeable sources this property was purchased by Paul Wahba the owner of Rutt’s Hawaiian Cafe at 12114 Washington Boulevard in Culver City as a headquarters for Rutt’s catering division. Don Chuy’s restaurant will stay for now but La Fortuna market will close to make room as their lease is up.
